Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of service.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to food safety and handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing guest relations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Experience with cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate billing.
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and culinary terminology is preferred.
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
