What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Framer position at Queen City Framing & Art Supplies?
We are a fun dynamic group looking for someone that wants specifically to work in a creative, professional artistic atmosphere! We want an engaging 'people person' for a retail position involving sales of fine art supplies as well as the assembly of mats and glass into frames. Experience with a variety of Fine Art supplies will be beneficial to helping our customers find the right products they need.
As an Art Framer, you will also learn to provide custom framing design solutions with customers. Your core skills in cash handling, communication, and collaboration with sales will enable you to effectively assist customers in selecting and framing their artwork. With a focus on assembly and attention to detail, you will ensure that each piece is framed to perfection.
Applicant must have some type of creative background, retail sales experience, problem solving skills, ability to read a tape measure correctly, has self-initiative, can lift up to 50lbs, and is interested in learning. The ability to work at least two Saturdays a month and provide great customer service is key.
We are a locally owned and operated shop where everyone does everything, and we love our job. We will train.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
