Queen Kapiolani Hotel is looking for a guest-oriented Full Time Guest Service Agent who is focused on providing excellent service and memorable experience. This position is responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. Other duties may include processing payment and responding to guest inquires.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE:
- Basic understanding of business service functions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office computer applications.
- Must be available weekends and nights; flexible to work all shifts.
EXPERIENCE: One year experience in a customer service setting and cash handling. Front desk clerk experience highly preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Excellent telephone, communication, and presentation skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Good math skills. Ability to calculate monetary exchange.
- Well organized and attention to detail.
- Willing to cooperate with and assist others.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task.
- Above average ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including 10-key and telephone.
- Strong typing abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
