POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Director of Residential Treatment is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Residential Unit at Queen of Peace Center. Ensuring adequate clinical and direct care staff coverage, this director is responsible to ensure high quality care and achievement of outcomes for the unit, meets budgetary requirements and ensures a therapeutic environment for clients enrolled in the residential program. Develop and implement curriculum appropriate for residential family-centered treatment in coordination with other agency leaders that meets quality and funder guidelines and requirements.
Hires trains and supervises staff and helps to develop a standardized onboarding and orientation program for each discipline of the treatment teams in residential.
CORE FUNCTIONS
· Lead a team of clinical and direct care team members in a 24-hour residential program for women and children
· Develop and implement a high quality clinical curriculum
· Work closely with quality department to ensure appropriate outcomes are measured and achieved
· Ensure team is meeting service delivery, documentation and billing requirements
· Perform routine quality checks of services delivery
· Ensure census is accurately maintained
· In coordination with Residential Manager, assure that there is adequate 24-hour coverage of the residential unit
· Work closely with HR to recruit and hire for open positions
· Provide on-call clinical coverage
· Identify the need for and assist in the development of departmental policies and procedures
· Develop comprehensive onboarding program for new team members
· Provide clinical training for all QOPC team members
· Work with Residential Manager to develop group curriculum appropriate for delivery by direct care staff
· Responsible for overseeing efficient delivery of services to clients according to approved policies and procedures meeting DMH, CSTAR and COA standards
· Adhere to standards, policies and procedures of Queen of Peace Center, Catholic Charities of St. Louis and the Archdiocese of St. Louis
· Pursue continuing professional development, join appropriate professional groups, and attend pertinent meetings.
· Verify and document all appropriate information into the EHR system and state system as directed.
· Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, and Training
· Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work or closely related field. Clinical license preferred.
· At least 3 years of experience in working with individuals in residential treatment, preferable in a substance use program
At least 3 years of supervisory experience

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
