Job Description
Job Title : Locum Tenens Physician
Job Specialty : Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Duration : 13 months
Shift : Day - 8x5 - 9 AM, with potential night call
Guaranteed Hours : 8 hours per shift
Experience : Minimum Board Certification Eligible
License : Not specified
Certifications : Not required (ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS not required)
Must-Have :
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeder (cautery or laser)
- Injection of varices
- ERCP experience
- PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
- Small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyps
Job Description :
This position will extend into later 2025. Please note the flexible schedule with potential for shifts from 7-5 or 8-5, and the necessity for night call coverage.
