RESPONSIBILITIESUpdates pay scale starting at $41.75 / hour.I. JOB SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performs a variety of radiologic procedures.
- Provides patient care during procedures.II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
- Standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
- Continuous : stooping / bending; reaching above and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object, pushing / pulling usual weight up to 50 pounds of force.
- Frequent : twisting body, lifting usual weight with assistance up to 50 pounds; carrying up to 40 pounds; reaching at shoulders, repetitive arm / hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods of time.
- Occasional : sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting.II. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS :
- Exposed to both inside and outside environmental conditions; cold temperatures due to the air conditioning.
- Subjected to noise / vibration from film processors.
- Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, mechanical / electrical units, chemicals and radiation.
- Work Environment is fast paced and high stressed due to patient census.IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : A. EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE :
- Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current BLS certification.B. EXPERIENCE :
