In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a safe, healthy, and connected community by designing and implementing programs that enhance residents’ well-being. You’ll work closely with local organizations and community leaders to identify and address residents' needs, contributing to a vibrant and inclusive community.Responsibilities : Design and implement programs that promote the well-being and engagement of community members.Collaborate with local organizations and leaders to assess and address residents' needs.Develop strategies to improve residents' quality of life.Plan and facilitate community events and activities that foster social interaction and connection.Maintain accurate records of program activities, outcomes, and progress.Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in social work, community development, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience in community organizing or a similar role.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Preferred Qualifications : Experience working with older adults and / or individuals with disabilities.Experience in a nonprofit or community-based organization.Bilingual in English and Spanish.Skills : The ideal candidate will excel in building relationships with community members, organizations, and leaders through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities are crucial for planning and executing impactful programs and events. Adaptability and teamwork are essential, along with the ability to work independently.
