The Senior Application Developer's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the CIO and/or Director of Application Development to develop, implement, and modify computer applications.
- Develop new, dynamic, flexible, web-based applications utilizing the Software Development Lifecycle
- Applications developed will be secure, leveraging SSO and/or MFA where required and will be subject to internal software accreditation.
- Create and maintain flow diagrams and document supporting written applications.
- Create and implement APIs and web-services to be used by other applications in the agency.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Business Analysts to ensure applications are developed on-time and directly reflect the needs expressed by the business units.
- Use JSON/XML data sources for importing and exporting data with partner agencies, internal off-the-shelf applications, or our current production data store.
- Qualified candidates must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, or a related field and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to information technology service management, process management, operations; or
- An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, or a related field, and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to information technology service management, process management, operations; or
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related information technology service management, process management, operations; or the equivalent education and/or experience.
- A master's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college is strongly preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills and experience in handling confidential information as well as the following skills:
- Lightning Web Component Framework
- Apex
- Node.js
- ASP.NET
- C#
- HTML/JavaScript
- Blazor
- SQL Queries, Stored Procedures and Triggers
- JSON/XML
- SSO/MFA implementation within applications
- Visual Basic
- Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools is a plus.
