Job Overview
The Payments Fraud Manager will be responsible for managing the bank's debit card fraud program, including implementing and managing debit card fraud tools, analyzing and managing card fraud losses.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control reviews and monitor activities related to debit card fraud and instant payment fraud incidents.
- Research external fraud trends to proactively address potential fraud risks to the bank.
- Analyze data and monitor key fraud metrics to optimize bank fraud losses.
- Develop and implement effective fraud monitoring and case management strategies.
- Work closely with the bank's EFT processor to monitor daily alerts and potential unusual activity.
- Collaborate with the EFT fraud provider to communicate fraud prevention rule design requests.
- Monitor and optimize the bank's custom fraud ruleset.
- Participate in quarterly MasterCard Threat Scan fraud rule testing.
- Identify and implement changes to improve fraud monitoring systems, processes, and strategies.
- Supervise department staff and outstanding card dispute workflows.
- Monitor monthly debit card fraud losses.
