Do you have extensive experience in Microsoft 365 administration and a proactive approach to managing systems? We’re looking for someone with deep technical expertise who can lead the way in ensuring our cloud infrastructure remains reliable, secure, and fully compliant across the organization.
The Microsoft 365 System Administrator at Quest CE will play a pivotal role in managing the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring systems' stability, security, and performance across both on-premises and cloud environments. We seek an individual with extensive experience in Microsoft 365 administration, possessing both deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to system management. This position requires someone who can manage our cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable, compliant, and secure operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Manage user accounts, licenses, and roles; configure security and compliance settings.
- Monitor service health and drive adoption of Microsoft 365 tools across the organization.
Exchange Online Management
Oversee email security, flow, and mailbox management.Implement email protocols for secure delivery and configure compliance policies.SharePoint Online & OneDrive Administration
Configure and maintain SharePoint and OneDrive permissions, external sharing, and compliance settings.Teams Administration
Administer Teams policies, security, and compliance, integrating with other Microsoft 365 services.Enhance productivity by linking Teams with applications like HubSpot and FreshService.Security & Compliance Management
Use Microsoft Defender, threat analytics, and data governance tools to secure Microsoft 365.Implement and monitor IAM and compliance policies to protect sensitive resources.Intune & Mobile Device Management (MDM)
Develop and enforce Intune policies for device compliance and security across corporate and BYOD devices.Manage mobile application protection and troubleshoot access issues.Azure Active Directory (AAD) Management
Oversee user identities, roles, SSO, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).Set up Conditional Access and other policies for secure and efficient access management.PowerShell Automation
Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks, security audits, and reporting.Backup, Recovery, and Retention Policies
Establish and test backup, disaster recovery, and data retention strategies, focusing on data integrity and minimal downtime.Reporting & Analytics
Use analytics to monitor system performance, security, and user behavior, providing insights for optimization.User Support and Training
Provide user support, manage escalations, and develop training materials on best practices for Microsoft 365 tools.Project Management and Documentation
Coordinate system updates and policy changes, maintaining detailed documentation.Collaborate with corporate teams on projects requiring Microsoft 365 integration.Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience and 5 years of relevant experienceTechnical Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administrationSecurity Expertise with Microsoft Defender, MFA, and DLPAzure Active Directory for user and role managementPowerShell Scripting for automation and reportingDisaster Recovery Planning experienceStrong Communication Skills to support change management and cross-department collaborationPreferred Certifications :
