Job Overview:
Quest Counseling & Consulting, a reputable private nonprofit organization in Reno, NV, is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing the program clinically off-site and on-site. The coordinator will devise processes and procedures to respond to opiate overdoses, or other substance misuse crisis.
Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator duties and responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:
1. Assign YOIP staff to the appropriate locations to meet clients.
2. Oversee referrals and the number of admissions into treatment, and ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
a. Expedite all referrals and provide clients with times and dates to meet with clinicians.
b. Bridge communication between staff to ensure clients are receiving the best care.
3. Keep track of pertinent data requested by the Fund for a Resilient Nevada, such as client demographics, number of client’s serve, Narcan distribution, clinics/offices meetings,.
a. Work closely with E.D. to submit monthly data worksheet.
4. Set up all meetings with community agencies to inform them of program goals.
5. Solicit clinics, agencies, partners, etc. to present power point program to and follow up with them monthly.
6. Provide Narcan to clients and families when necessary and appropriate. Staying informed about Narcan training.
7. Ensure the YOIP equipment is secure and maintained, to include:
a. The cell phone is turned on during work hours and responds to all calls and text messages promptly.
8. Coordinate all MAT services with APRN medical assistant, develop scheduling procedures, and tracking client data regarding MAT.
9. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Director of Operations, or the Management Team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two (2) years' experience in general office procedures.
- One (1) year of behavioral health knowledge and experience. (Required)
- Spanish preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft operating system and software.
- Ability to adhere to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements pertaining to client protected health information.
