Potential Job Functions:
- Component Design and Analysis: Take ownership of mechanical design and structural analysis of various components, ensuring their integrity and performance.
- System Requirements: Capture and integrate system requirements and engineering standards from customers into component design processes.
- Technical Support: Provide technical substantiation support, underpinning design decisions with data-driven validation and hand calculations.
- Program Reviews: Contribute to technical and program reviews, bringing expertise to the forefront and presenting insights effectively.
- Component Development: Lead holistic component development, balancing cost, performance, service life, and system requirements for optimal outcomes.
- CAD CAE PLM Tools: Utilize cutting-edge CAD tools, PLM tools, and some knowledge of ANSYS Classic, ANSYS Workbench, and Siemens Simcenter for component design and analysis.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Foster seamless collaboration with internal and external engineering teams, exchanging insights and expertise.
- Engineering Problem Solving: Leverage deep understanding of technical principles to address complex engineering challenges.
- Component Evaluation: Assess component suitability in terms of fit, form, function, and durability, aligning them with certified configurations.
