What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Technology Senior Analyst position at Quest Diagnostics?
Overview
The HR Technology Senior Analyst is a key member of the Human Capital Management (HCM) team, responsible for providing analytical, project management, and execution support on select aspects of Quest Diagnostics' HR technology strategy, architecture, and applicable policies. The incumbent will also provide dedicated support to certain HR functions, such as talent management.
Responsibilities
- Support efforts to evaluate and prioritize HR technology
- Work with the IT function to ensure effective integration of HR systems in a designated area
- Produce analytics and reports for the HRIT team
- Together with other HRIT team members, help manage and coordinate large system implementations
- Support change management processes as an integral part of the launch phase
- Carry out user acceptance testing for all HR system upgrades/implementations
- Support the research and evaluation of new and/or alternative solutions and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs
- Participate in creating recommendations for the appropriate HR platform and/or application to support accurate reporting of HR information for the enterprise and its lines of business
- Help shape and implement the HR technology strategic plan in collaboration with the HR technology committees and senior HR Leadership
- Ensure the prioritization of HR technology needs across the enterprise while simultaneously determining technological "needs vs. wants", budget considerations, and timetable requirements. Develops adjustments as necessary
- Serve as the HR Technology and Business Intelligence "thought leader" and go-to person for specific areas
- In coordination with the HR Training team, make training available for HR Technology end users (e.g. HRBPs, HR Admins, Recruiters, Managers, etc.) as needed to increase their effectiveness and ability to use the system(s)
- Identify inefficiencies, cost reductions or system improvements. Develops and executes mitigation plans
- Manage HR systems to support annual cycles
Qualifications
Required Work Experience:
- More than 7 years professional experience required
- Participated in at least 3 Oracle HCM implementations
- Deep knowledge of Oracle’s HCM platform specifically Oracle Talent Management including Oracle Learn
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Required (computer science, software engineering, mathmatics, finance or other quantitative discipline)Master's Degree Preferred (computer science, software engineering, mathmatics, finance or other quantitative discipline)
