Staff Lead Structural Engineer – Katy, TX / Houston (Energy Corridor)
Are you a seasoned Structural Engineer with a strong offshore oil and gas background and expertise in SACS software? We're seeking a talented individual to join our client's team in Houston, TX (Energy Corridor), to lead and contribute to a range of dynamic offshore projects.
About the Role :
As a Staff Lead Structural Engineer , you'll work on exciting projects such as subsea manifolds, offshore platform decommissioning, seafastening, winch tie-downs, pipelay engineering, subsea pipelines, heavy lift, and subsea lowering. This position is ideal for a professional who excels at managing workloads, guiding team members, and maintaining a commitment to high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities :
- SACS Expertise : Lead and execute structural analysis and design tasks using SACS software; additional proficiency in STAAD Pro and RISA is highly desirable.
- Mentorship : Provide guidance and support to less experienced structural team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
- Problem Solving : Utilize logical reasoning and critical thinking to solve complex structural challenges efficiently.
- Project Contribution : Work hands-on with the team to ensure successful project completion, meeting technical and quality standards.
- Workload Management : Prioritize and manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.
