Office Manager/Operations Manager
Quest Forward Academy (https://omaha.questforward.academy/) is a new kind of high school centrally located in the Omaha Metro area. Taking a student-centric, project-based, and skills-forward approach to learning, we seek to instill in our students the mindset, habits, and skills that will prepare them for success in future learning, in career, and in life itself.
At Quest Forward Academy the Office Manager plays a central role in our school operations, ensuring that students, families, and staff have the information and resources they need to succeed. The Office Manager will play a primary role in coordinating day-to-day operations systems and routines that allow the school to run seamlessly. This includes managing the front office, ordering supplies, disbursing key communications to stakeholders, managing student attendance records and managing the lunch and student transportation systems.
As the Office Manager:
- You’ll serve as the primary contact for all school’s constituents in person, over the phone, and via email.
- You’ll communicate effectively with students, families, businesses, staff, and visitors to ensure a welcoming main office environment.
- You’ll coordinate on-site components of inventory/purchase orders and student transportation.
- You’ll support school events and activities as needed (making photocopies, assisting with set-up for special events, etc.)
- You’ll maintain vital school records for staff and students.
- You’ll be the primary manager of daily student systems (student attendance and meal compliance).
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the safe, efficient and effective functioning of the office and school.
Qualifications:
- Passionate commitment to the mission of Quest Forward Academy and investment in our vision for the future.
- Prior experience as an Office Manager, or as a School Office background is preferred.
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Demonstrated flexibility, maturity and ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others; strong interpersonal skills with students, parents, staff, and community members.
- Ability to maintain a calm, solutions-oriented perspective in the face of competing demands and external pressures.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
