We have an immediate need for a Delivery Assurance/Expeditor on site at a supplier for our customer. This position is in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The primary focus of this role is to provide onsite support providing delivery information to our customer hourly/daily/weekly.
What You will Do:
- Tracks work order movement through the manufacturing process of specific product identified by value stream
- Provide part status inputs along with Line of Balance
- Documents process issues.
- Tracking and Monitoring material flow between various departments and parties.
- Both internal and external
- Prepares progress reports.
- Line of Balance
- (WIP) reporting
- Weekly reports covering accomplishments, roadblocks and forward-looking support
- Facilitates implementation of need-based solutions.
- Helps identify resources that might be needed to keep product moving
How You Will Get Here:
- Fosters strong internal and external partnerships.
- Observes all safety rules per OSHA guidelines
- 2 year degree preferred
- Self-motivated and excels in working autonomously.
- High school diploma acceptable with 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel (Excel skills should be at intermediate level with ability to create line of balance, pivot tables, charts, etc.)
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient people skills
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
- 100% onsite support
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Office Environments, as well as being on the Shop Floor.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 40 hours weeks plus lunch / core (required) hours / General shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer defined locations.
