What You will Do:
- Manage the planning and commit process for in-source work (plan release to shop floor).
- Ensure all material is processed efficiently during the pick pack ship process
- Train individuals on policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed
- Able to apply CORE, lean and other continuous improvement techniques to develop and implement process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing quality, reducing cost, and enhancing delivery integrity.
- Work with logistic supply base and internal stakeholders/colleagues to plan and execute risk mitigation actions (ITS)
- Works chronic or acute transportation issues as escalated to the Central Team by the Carries or the SBU/Site Logistics Leads
- Conducts cycle counts and records results.
Work Experience
How You Will Get Here:
- 1-3 years of management experience, shop floor warehouse management experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinking skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good time management
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
- SAP experience preferred
Pay Range: $75,000 - $80,000 based on experience
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CT
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- This role is for 2nd shift (hours to be determined)
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Citizenship requirement:
- Due to the nature of this role, proof of US Citizenship is required upon hire.
Travel requirements: No travel required for this role.
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
