We have an immediate need for a Financial Cost Accounting Analyst at our aerospace location in Rockford, IL. The primary focus of this role is to perform inspection & acceptance of machined parts for various OEM and aftermarket customers.
- Provide support to Site Controller
- Complete financial reporting of actuals, forecast including weekly LE updates with variance analyses to plan for P & L Headcount, Cost Accounting and Productivity Report, and Ad Hoc Reports
- Help prepare journal entries and support account reconciliations
- Validate monthly site reporting in OS is complete and accurate
- Develop rates for government book accounting
Work Experience
- Finance Degree preferred
- Cost Accounting Experience preferred
- Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley and can help ensure adherence
- Communication and able to lead meetings on spend analysis
- Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 40 hours weeks plus lunch / core (required) hours / General shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
