What You will Do:
- Performs cycle time and takt time analysis.
- Performs other Industrial engineering functions such as conducting motion and time studies, line balancing.
- Plan the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings.
- Knowledgeable in production process, designing material flow, layout and process flows, capacity planning
- Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control.
Work Experience
How You Will Get Here:
- High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred but not required
- 2 years of prior relevant experience, Industrial Engineering background or any other related field (electronics, mechatronics or mechanical)
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and industrial engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and industrial software.
Pay Range: $18 to $21 per hour
Work Requirements:
- This role is considered an on-site position located in Chicago, IL.
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no other travel required.
Salary : $18 - $21
