Essential Job Functions:
We are seeking skilled Industrial Engineering resources to join our Industrial Engineering team. The ideal resources will possess a strong background in industrial engineering, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles. This involves analyzing, designing, and implementing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest quality standards in aerospace production.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Design, layout, and optimize production workflows, equipment, and space requirements.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for process improvements.
- Analyze and prepare production line capacity assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality, to develop and implement process improvements.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Secondary Job Functions:
- Plan the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings.
- Knowledgeable in production process, designing material flow, layout and process flows, capacity planning (SAP Preferred)
- Able to lead and execute complex projects to support operational goals.
- Performs cycle time and takt time analysis.
- Performs other Industrial engineering functions such as conducting motion and time studies, line balancing.
- Develop/Enhance work instructions to implement best practices / lessons learned and ensure repeatability of tasks.
- Comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
Work Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or any other related field (electronics, mechatronics or mechanical) 3 years of prior relevant experience preferably within the aerospace manufacturing industry
- Experience using continuous improvement tools including LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience leveraging influencing, interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to drive results.
- Experience with Drawings, BOMs, Routings, Manufacturing Procedures, and product specifications.
- Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize workload and teamwork.
Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.
This role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ and will require successful applicants to be able to work in both manufacturing and office environments. Applicants must be able to lift/move 20lbs
