Role Overview :
The Project Manager - Quality Operations will be responsible for managing a team of Quality Technicians supporting aftermarket and repair operations in Oklahoma City, OK. This role will oversee daily operations, ensure adherence to quality standards, and drive continuous improvement in processes and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, team leadership, and project management within a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a team of Quality Technicians performing inspections, documentation, and quality assurance processes for Pratt & Whitney’s aftermarket operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customer quality standards, and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and refine operational procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor project performance, key metrics, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer interactions, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for team members.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address quality and operational challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma, Lean, and other quality management principles.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and supply chain, to enhance quality outcomes.
- Manage staffing, resource allocation, and vendor coordination as needed to meet business objectives.
- Investigate and resolve escalations through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
