What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at Quest Global?
Inspect items before shipment. Determine airworthiness and acceptability to specifications.
Oversees testing plans, methods, and equipment to assure reliability of products.
Complete FAA paperwork accurately and timely to assist in on-time delivery to customers.
Assist customer service with customer concerns with FAA paperwork and procedures.
Assist in new programs relative to meeting FAA/ODA requirements throughout the company.
Work with Return Goods department on FAA issues and determining satus of returned parts.
Assist Quality with corrective action analysis, PFMEA support.
Assist the FAA ODA group in multiple site locations
Assist maintaining the FAA ODA manual and any other paperwork pertaining to the ODA group.
Participate in yearly FAA audit and assist in conducting internal FAA audit.
Support in new programs throughout the company that could impact the FAA group.
split shift from 11am-7pm, rotational Saturdays
Work Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 2 years of relevant experience /OR/ 2 year degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 6 years of relevant experience /OR/ in the absence of a degree, HS diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience is required.
Ability to read blueprints
Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Aerospace Quality Inspection or FAA Inspections experience preferred.
