We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Quest Global. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of suppliers' products and services and identifying continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities :
Identify continuous improvement initiatives in Supplier Quality Processes to improve Return to Vendor Cycle Time, reduce slow-moving inventory levels, and Improve Supplier Containment
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain quality standards for materials and components used in our aerospace and defense products
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary
Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement effective solutions.
Provide guidance and support to suppliers in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in supplier quality management.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer in the aerospace and defense industry.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
Familiarity with supplier qualification and auditing processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
