Job Overview:
The Sr. Associate Industrial Planner will support various aerospace programs in the planning, execution, and tracking of changes, introductions and initiatives. They will work closely with production managers, supply chain suppliers, sourcing, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to manage and support efficient material introduction into the production manufacturing stream.
Work Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with material suppliers any planned requirement changes as well as any preliminary tooling requirements
- Manage recording of raw material supplier manufacturing delivery information from supplier or purchasing and any special process sources
- Develop industrial plans to ensure material delivery meets requirements per MRL requirements. Coordinate industrial plan reviews to acquire approvals from purchasing, sourcing and industrial planning stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering cross functional team to ensure EAR, DSR and EIR activities meet milestones and objectives
- Track engineering change progresses including KPI’s, milestones and deliverables
- Manage and track production tooling requirements and sourcing strategies
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve issues
- Create and manage Industrial risk assessments, including cost impacts per EIR/MRL requirements
- Perform supplier capability and capacity assessments per MRL requirements
- Deliver Industrial status weekly to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science preferred but not required. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- Knowledge of ERP, MRP and PLM systems such as SAP & Teamcenter
- Ability to extract, reduce and analyze supplier performance data utilizing tools such as QLIK
- 5-8 years of experience within Industrial Management, Production Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field
