What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Patient Specialist position at Quest Health Solutions LLC?
As a New Patient Specialist for a durable medical equipment, specifically Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM), you will play a pivotal role in connecting with diabetic patients and healthcare professionals, understanding their needs, and facilitating the enrollment process. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with inbound and outbound leads and convert them into satisfied patients by providing expert guidance and exceptional patient care.
Requirements: Job Requirements- Patient Care: comfortable assisting patients over the phone all day with the highest quality service including but not limited to empathy, active listening and patience.
- Outbound Dialing: Able to process 400 outbound and inbound calls, daily, with warm leads interested in our continuous glucose monitoring products.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our continuous glucose monitors, their features, and the benefits they offer to individuals with diabetes.
- Educate and Advise: Provide accurate and clear information to patients about the CGM products, their usage, and the advantages of continuous glucose monitoring in diabetes management.
- Assess Patient Needs: Understand the unique needs and preferences of each patient and recommend the most suitable CGM solution based on their individual requirements.
- Provide Insurance Benefit Information: Obtain and verify patients insurance benefits and navigate patient responsibility conversations accordingly.
- Sales Closing: Successfully enrolls patients, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to all regulatory guidelines, HIPAA and Medicare.?
- Patient Support: Provide post-enrollment support and provide clear next steps for the patient.?
- Documentation: Accurately document sales transactions and patient interactions in our intake form.?
- Stay Informed: Stay up to date with industry trends, product advancements, and changes in insurance and reimbursement policies related to durable medical equipment.
- Privacy regulations: adhere and comply with all HIPAA guidelines and always maintain confidentiality of patient information.
