The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the revenue cycle process within Quest Health Solutions. This role focuses on ensuring accurate billing, resolving denials, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy across all revenue cycle functions. The RCM Specialist collaborates with various departments to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance with industry standards. By effectively managing their responsibilities, this position plays a crucial role in maximizing revenue and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the AR and billing processes, ensuring accurate invoicing, payment posting, and timely follow-ups on outstanding payments.
- Deductible Season management, applying DED holds and or releasing based on company policy.
- RCM Intake and Order Escalations manage cases involving AR and Billing related issues.
- Conducting deposit and denials report reviews.
- Managing write-off approvals and denials
- Handling AR tasks
- Audit Support: Support regular audits to ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and assist in resolving related denials.
- Process Improvement identify opportunities for process improvements within the revenue cycle, enhancing overall efficiencies and accuracy.
- Regular review of active templates for accuracy, branch, qty, run dates etc.
- Healthcare Experience: Previous experience in a revenue cycle management role within a healthcare setting.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Brightree and revenue cycle management processes, including AR, billing, and denial resolution.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated capacity to resolve complex billing issues and denials effectively and efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, patients, and insurance providers.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely resolution of issues.
