Quest Village On-Site Assistant Responsibilities

• Successfully complete medication administration course. Administer prescribed medications, monitor self-administration of medications, follow protocol for disposal of medications, maintain medication count, and communicate with pharmacy as needed
• Provide positive social and leisure interaction to residents daily while encouraging personal choices
• Follow established guidelines for residents’ personal care and medical needs
• Monitor and report any issues related to the personal care and medical needs of residents as well as any needs for wheelchairs or adaptive equipment
• For identified residents, complete housekeeping duties as assigned. Assist residents in planning and preparing meals.
• Facilitate monthly on-site events for residents
• Assist individuals in accomplishing their personal goals and support goals
• Clean and maintain common areas of the property according to established guidelines
• Respond to internal Emergency Response System according to established guidelines

Quest Village On-Site Assistant Qualifications

• High school diploma/ GED required
• Florida Driver’s License in good standing
• Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship
• Read, write, and comprehend English
• Perform physical requirements associated with transferring/positioning individuals, implementing of behavioral crisis management, and lifting/carrying up to 50lbs.
