What are the responsibilities and job description for the UR - HR - Intern position at QUEST INTEGRITY USA?
General Summary
The Human Resources Intern will work on one or more strategic projects over the course of the summer related to the following areas- recruiting/talent, learning management, workforce planning, employee relations, compensation or benefits. These projects will deliverable tangible benefits and measurable results to the business. Additionally, TEAM interns will be supported by a manager and mentor who will set objectives with you and guide you throughout the internship. The internship will also provide opportunities to network, participate in social events and professionally develop. The internship is 10-12 weeks in duration and will be located at TEAM’s corporate headquarters in Sugar Land, TX.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety and quality standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern
- Adheres to and is a champion of TEAM’s Core Values
- Sample projects include assessing strategic sourcing efforts, benchmarking HR programs, mapping human resources workflows, improving reporting, developing key HR performance indicators, identifying training needs, refining policies and evaluating current processes to drive efficiencies and determine ROI
- Present project results to executives as the culmination of the internship
Job Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelors or Masters in Human Resources
- Anticipated graduation date of May 2021
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (both cumulative and major)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Initiative, drive for results and ability to deal with ambiguity
- Strong attention to detail and analytical and problem solving skills
- Agility in networking across company to learn about multiple business areas
- Possess the desire to learn new and challenging skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Work Conditions
- Position is located at the corporate location
- Work is conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting
- Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 9:30 am to 3:30 pm
