Lead Therapy Technician Job Summary
The Lead Therapy Technician is responsible for overseeing the hiring, training, and management of therapy technicians across all three Quest Pediatric Therapy locations (Moore, Norman, and OKC). This full-time position includes benefits and requires regular travel between locations to ensure consistency and efficiency in therapy tech operations. The Lead Therapy Technician reports directly to the Director of Front and Back Office (DFBO) and plays a key role in fostering a well-organized and supportive environment for therapists, clients, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Hiring, Training, and Supervision:
Interview, hire, and onboard therapy technicians as needed to maintain adequate staffing levels at each location.- Provide comprehensive training to therapy techs to ensure consistency in procedures, communication, and expectations across all clinics.
- Regularly assess the performance of therapy technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for therapy techs, addressing concerns and facilitating professional growth.
Scheduling & Coverage Coordination:
Develop and maintain the work schedule for therapy techs across all locations to ensure appropriate coverage based on therapist and clinic needs.- Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate staffing changes, clinic demands, and therapist availability.
- Communicate schedule updates and changes to therapy techs and relevant staff in a timely manner.
Clinic Operations & Coordination:
Ensure therapy technicians assist in client arrival and check-in procedures, including.- Maintain continuity between locations by standardizing workflows, documentation practices, and daily expectations for therapy techs.
Facility Cleanliness & Safety:
Implement and oversee cleaning protocols to maintain safe and organized treatment spaces.- Ensure therapy techs complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks, including sanitization of toys, feeding therapy supplies, and shared treatment areas.
- Monitor supply levels and restock cleaning materials at all locations.
Position Requirements:
Previous experience as a therapy technician, lead technician, or in a supervisory role within a healthcare or therapy setting preferred.- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel between Moore, Norman, and OKC locations as needed.
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks while maintaining a positive and team-oriented environment.
