Quest Window Systems Inc (“Quest”) is a manufacturer of a window wall system designed for high-rise residential developments, based in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Quest services clients from all over North America, including major metropolises such as New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Toronto.

We are seeking 2nd shift Industrial Maintenance Technician with 3-5 year mechanical/electrical maintenance skills for Garland Facility. Aluminum Industry experience is a plus.

This position is full-time Direct Hire. 100% Employer Paid Insurance

• Night Shift (2:00 pm - 10:30pm) - Ability to work overtime and flexible hours
• Starting hourly base pay rate: $24.00 - $29.00 an hour (based on experience)

Purpose: This position is responsible to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to include production floor root cause process analysis that affect production efficiencies. The Technician will maintain, troubleshoot, install, and rebuild automated production machinery and associated equipment

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical problems and repair automated production systems, compressors, cranes and other equipment in the facility
• Responsible for set up and change over of manufacturing and fabrication machinery
• Observes safety and security procedures; reports and repairs potential unsafe conditions
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshoot, repair, dismantle and reassemble ancillary equipment
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair daily to ensure the production and processing is running effectively
• Read mechanical drawings and electronic schematics to ensure product specification and tolerances are met during equipment performance
• Assist in the development, design of new manufacturing products, tools and processes
• Design tooling and fixtures for manufacturing by collaborating with the engineering teams
• Administer installation, lubrication, maintenance, causes of failure, and replacement of sliding surface and roller contact bearings
• Perform related or other responsibilities as required or assigned

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• 3-5 years experience maintaining various kinds of production equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems in high-volume manufacturing environment
• Proven relevant mechanical/electrical aptitude and trouble-shooting skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required
• Multi-task and remain detail oriented
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Occasionally lift/carry objects up to 100 pounds to replace motors, pumps etc., squat, crawl, reach above shoulders and kneel
