Director Advanced Planning (Life/Annuity)
Questpro is working with a top-tier Insurance and Financial Services Company to help them hire an experienced Advanced Planning Attorney with a focus on HNW Clients who need assistance with Advanced Planning for Estate and Business Planning purposes. This role will sit specifically within the Advanced Planning area of the company.
Our client is specifically looking for someone experienced with Life Insurance AND Annuity products and also experience with Advanced Concepts such as Premium Finance, Split Dollar, Executive Bonus, Wealth Transfer, Wills, Trusts, etc. This role will work very closely with Distribution and can be called into high level meetings with HNW Clients and Advisors and their teams (CPA’s, Attorneys, etc.) This is a Director level role and does require a completed JD to be considered.
We are looking for a team player and strong collaborator comfortable working with external and internal partners for design on these large and complex cases. This role will work side by side with the VP offering high end advice and counseling to Financial Advisors and their HNW clients.

Responsibilities Include
- Ability to foster and develop close working relationships with internal advisors and distribution teams
- Provide expert advice on “Advanced” Legal and Tax related strategies for business planning
- Work with Distribution and Marketing teams to identify product opportunities and/or product enhancements
- Develop training material on product and sales concepts for internal and external business partners
- Conduct training meetings, teleconferences, virtual training sessions and in-person meetings with our distribution partners
- Advise on creation of product marketing pieces for use with agents
- Provide advanced support on product positioning, terms and regulations, sales concepts and advanced illustration techniques
- Assisting with special projects
- Bachelor's Degree
- JD (required)
- At least one of these required: CPA, ChFC, CFA, CLU, LLM (or similar)
- 5 years experience with Life Insurance and/or Annuity products
- Proven knowledge of Advanced Planning concepts, Tax laws, etc
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Experience delivering presentations in person or virtual
- Ability to explain complex ideas and intricate details clearly
- Team player who can interact with senior level and HNW clients
- Salesforce experience is a plus
