We are seeking an experienced a GL Claims Adjuster to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a temp-to-hire opportunity depending on business needs. This role will focus on handling advanced claims, including slip and falls – mostly direct deals, and attorney-represented cases, with minimal litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of complex claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Handle slip and fall cases and attorney-represented claims.
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
- Work closely with legal teams, medical professionals, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation and provide regular updates on claim status.
- 3-5 years of claims adjusting experience, preferably with slip and falls and attorney-represented cases.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Experience handling low-litigation claims is a plus.
