Position Overview: We are seeking a Sr. ACR or ACR II with experience in Workers' Compensation claims adjusting for Louisiana, Texas, and some Oklahoma cases. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of jurisdictional requirements, state forms, and workers' comp processes. This role involves managing a desk with 100-120 claims, a mix of medical-only and indemnity claims, including some that are litigated.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Workers’ Compensation claims for Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.
• Conduct initial contact on new claims, medical management, and ensure timely claim closures.
• Manage a caseload of 100-120 claims, including a mix of medical-only, indemnity, and litigated claims.
• Ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements and state-specific forms.
• Handle a variety of Workers' Compensation claims from commercial accounts.
• Work with both represented and unrepresented parties.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience in Workers' Compensation claims adjusting.
• Knowledge of Texas and Louisiana workers' compensation jurisdictional requirements.
• Workers' Compensation Adjuster license for Texas and Louisiana is required.
• Familiarity with medical and indemnity claims, with some experience in litigated cases.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a desk of 100-120 claims.
  
  

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (may be flexible).
• Remote or office-based in Plano, TX.
  
  

Duration

• Temporary position, 3-5 months.
  
  

Compensation

• $45 per hour.
