We are seeking a skilled Door & Hardware Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various installation tasks, including carpentry and locksmithing. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, capable of heavy lifting, and comfortable working on construction sites. As an Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that installations are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Job Details:
- 2-year long project
- $40-$50 per diem for non-locals
- 50 hours per week
- Located in San Luis, AZ
Duties
- Perform installations of various products, including but not limited to doors, windows, and cabinetry.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete installation tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
- Execute trim carpentry and frame carpentry tasks as needed.
- Apply caulking and other finishing materials to ensure a polished look.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in locksmithing, carpentry, or related fields.
- Experience installing doors and hardware
- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment safely.
- Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints.
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.
- Strong skills in trim carpentry and frame carpentry techniques.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
