Duties
- Monitor work areas for signs of fire or smoke during hot work operations.
- Maintain a clear line of communication with workers and supervisors regarding safety concerns.
- Ensure that fire extinguishing equipment is readily available and in proper working condition.
- Conduct regular inspections of the work area to identify potential hazards.
- Document any incidents or near misses and report them to management.
- Assist in implementing safety protocols and procedures to minimize fire risks.
- Be prepared to act quickly in case of an emergency, including activating alarms and notifying emergency services if necessary.
