Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of facilities and equipment through proactive maintenance and repair. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, diagnostic skills, familiarity with hand and power tools of all kinds, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on facilities to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components.
- Utilize logic controllers and Ohmmeters for diagnosing issues with equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and effectively.
- Conduct residential painting and other general maintenance tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Experience supervising teams or contractors is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and the use of an Ohmmeter for diagnostics.
- Proficient in using CMMS for tracking maintenance activities.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various environments.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
