Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate CSP documentation and advise on the technical validity of artifacts for DoD cloud deployments
- Monitor and report commercial parity exceptions monthly to support the SCCA PMO
- Assess change/release notifications from CSPs and provide insight on operational impact
- Design secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions optimized for automation, performance, and availability
- Advise DoD stakeholders on Cloud Service Offering (CSO) adoption aligned to specific mission use cases
- Collaborate weekly with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) to address cloud pipeline and DoD configuration requirements
- Facilitate multi-cloud technical exchange meetings, engaging across agencies and industry
- Track CSO demand across IC working groups and support DoD Provisional Authorization (DoD PA) efforts
- Work with Cybersecurity PMO teams to ensure solutions meet stringent cyber compliance standards
- Support tactical edge device testing and CAP onboarding for multiple classification levels
- Implement cloud solutions across Public, Private, Hybrid, and Community environments with a focus on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Stay ahead of emerging cloud trends and drive technical excellence across complex enterprise environments
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10 years of recent, relevant experience in cloud engineering (5 in CS or engineering)
- Active IAM Level III certification (DoD 8570 Compliant)
- Deep understanding of DoD cloud security requirements and SCCA frameworks
- Demonstrated experience working in large-scale, enterprise IT environments
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
