Key Responsibilities
- Software Development:
- Develop, test, and optimize Python-based applications following best coding practices.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with teams at both FANX and Emerson 3 to align development efforts with business needs.
- Cloud Computing & Infrastructure (AWS):
- Deploy and manage applications in AWS using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation to automate cloud deployments.
- Optimize AWS costs and performance while ensuring security best practices.
- Containerization & Deployment (Docker):
- Build and manage Docker containers for application deployment.
- Work with Kubernetes (EKS/ECS) or similar orchestration tools for scalable and automated deployments.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment in multi-cloud environments.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Split time efficiently between FANX (50%) and Emerson 3 (50%), ensuring smooth coordination across teams.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing updates and technical insights.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily standups.
- Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Step Functions).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
- Experience with message queues (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
