We seek a highly motivated and skilled Manager of Continuous Improvement to join our team. This role will support optimizing operational processes, increasing productivity, reducing waste, and enhancing efficiency across various departments. The ideal candidate will utilize engineering principles, data analysis, and lean methodologies to identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives aimed at increasing operational performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Process Analysis and Improvement :

  • Analyze existing operational processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and increase quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions to operational challenges.

Project Management :

  • Lead continuous improvement projects, ensuring successful implementation and adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor the progress of improvement projects and report on results, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting :

  • Collect and analyze data on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess process performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize statistical tools to drive decision-making and validate the impact of process changes.
  • Prepare detailed reports on process improvements and their effects on productivity, cost savings, and quality.
  • Training and Development :

  • Provide training and coaching to staff on Lean principles, process improvements, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging and supporting employee involvement in process enhancement initiatives.
  • Standardization and Documentation :

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practice guidelines to ensure consistency across operations.
  • Ensure that improvements are documented and shared with relevant teams for adoption.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support :

  • Work closely with production, quality, supply chain, and other departments to align improvement efforts with overall business goals.
  • Facilitate collaboration between teams to ensure that process improvements are integrated smoothly into day-to-day operations.
  • Sustainability and Cost Reduction :

  • Focus on identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve resource utilization, and enhance the sustainability of operations.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate processes to ensure long-term success and sustainability of improvements.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Strong Background in Distribution.
  • Industrial Engineers.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with a proven track record.
  • 3PL experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and industrial engineering (3-5 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, etc.) and process mapping techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Experience with project management, change management, and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in the manufacturing, supply chain, or similar industries.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and process automation technologies.
  • Physical Demands :

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may require long periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
  • Ability to Travel (50%) to different facilities or sites.
  • Work Environment :

  • This position typically operates in a warehousing professional environment.
  • Will require collaboration with various teams across departments and locations.
