Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technician to join our team at QuickMed Staffing in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be experienced in performing mammograms and will possess strong technical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality imaging services. Local candidates within 50 miles are not considered for this position.

Responsibilities :

Perform mammograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures following established protocols and guidelines.

Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.

Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.

Verify patient information, explain procedures, and address any patient concerns or questions.

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and ensure accurate diagnoses.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards, including radiation safety guidelines.

Requirements :

Certification and / or licensure as a Mammography Technician.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography or related diagnostic imaging.

Required : ARRT - Mammography and BLS certifications.

Strong technical skills and knowledge of mammography equipment and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.

Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Quick Med Staffing Job ID #2025-83093. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
