The role involves supporting the Ortho Oncology Surgeon in a physician practice setting and ensuring that patients receive the best care possible. Key Responsibilities : - Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories. - Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans. - Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed. - Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physician. - Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication management, and lifestyle modifications. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements. - Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. - Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families. Qualifications : - Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia. - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting. - BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. - Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform a wide range of nursing procedures. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
