We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service in restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damage. This role requires proficiency with various tools and techniques used in restoration processes, as well as the ability to work effectively in challenging environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform water damage restoration, including extraction and drying of affected areas.
- Conduct fire restoration tasks, including debris removal and smoke damage cleaning.
- Execute mold remediation processes to ensure safe and effective removal of hazardous materials.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for various restoration tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Carry out asbestos abatement procedures when necessary, following all safety protocols.
- Clean carpets and other surfaces to restore them to pre-damage conditions.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the restoration industry.
- Knowledge of mold remediation techniques and safety practices.
- Experience with water damage restoration methods and equipment.
- Familiarity with fire restoration processes and best practices.
- Understanding of asbestos abatement procedures is a plus.
