We’re currently seeking a Reconstruction Estimator with required Xactimate experience to join our growing team and help our customers navigate the restoration process with confidence and clarity.
Job Summary
As a Reconstruction Estimator, you’ll play a key role in evaluating damaged residential properties and creating detailed, accurate estimates for restoration work. Your work will guide homeowners and insurance companies in understanding the scope and cost of returning homes to their pre-loss condition. You’ll be the bridge between our team, clients, and insurance partners, ensuring smooth, efficient project execution.
Responsibilities
- Estimate Preparation: Perform comprehensive property inspections and collaborate with customers, insurance adjusters, and stakeholders to assess damage and develop detailed restoration estimates.
- Documentation: Record accurate measurements, material needs, and project details to support each estimate and ensure transparency.
- Customer Communication: Serve as a point of contact for homeowners, guiding them through the estimating process, answering questions, and providing timely updates.
- Insurance Liaison: Coordinate with insurance carriers by submitting well-supported estimates, documentation, and handling negotiations to secure prompt approvals.
- Cost Analysis: Evaluate labor, materials, and equipment costs to produce competitive and precise estimates.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all estimates meet industry standards and reflect best practices in the restoration field.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in estimating and project management, preferably in water, fire, or mold restoration
- Xactimate experience is required
- Solid knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
