Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting patient care. You will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and providing excellent patient service.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
- Provide exceptional patient care
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills in pharmacy practice.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a related healthcare role is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, especially related to acute care and critical care settings.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in medication preparation.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred but not mandatory.
