Administrative Support Specialist
This job is located at Naval Special Warfare Command (NAVSPECWARCOM) Office of the General Counsel (OGC). The Administrative Support Specialist will provide support for the development, processing, tracking, and analysis of personnel activities, as well as other functions normally encountered in an administrative office and a military personnel department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop internal processes covering various civilian HR functions such as recruitment, performance management, civilian training, and position management.
- Provide administrative support for processing actions.
- Work with detail and accuracy in performing administrative and routine functions.
- Perform data entry on computers using Microsoft Office applications.
- Travel to CONUS locations for up to two weeks by commercial conveyance.
- Develop position descriptions and classify positions.
- Conduct workforce analysis and provide narrative explanations of the analysis.
- Provide a monthly summary report of actions taken under this contract.
Requirements
- Secret Clearance
- 3 years' experience performing administrative functions within the civilian human resources functional area.
- 3 years' experience developing position descriptions and classifications.
- 2 years' experience conducting workforce analysis and providing narrative explanations of the analysis.
- 2 years' experience developing internal processes that cover a wide variety of civilian HR functions.
- 2 years' experience utilizing standard suite of Microsoft Office software products.
- 5 years' experience utilizing Microsoft SharePoint.
