What are the responsibilities and job description for the CL A Drivers Home Wkly Run Regionally - 73-83K with Full Benefits position at Quick Transport?
Class A drivers with 3 months verifiable Class A driving experience run dedicated regional, you are home weekly (weekends are NOT GUARANTEED) with average pay of $1400-$1600/WK
Drivers assigned to tractors after completing 1 week paid ride along with a current driver
o Operation in IL, WI, IA, IN, MI, KY, OH.
o Drivers are home weekly with most drivers getting home on the weekends but weekends are NOT guaranteed
o Pay starts at $0.82 up to .85CPM to start with $25 per stop and $245 per trailer unload.
o Full benefits start after 30 days and include medical, dental, 401K, 1 week PTO first year and more
o Driver can have a rider and a pet as soon as their training is over on the account. Drivers are paid $150/day during training and generally takes about one week (so 5 days)
Qualifications:
- 3 Months OTR or Regional in the last 36 months
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years and no more than 2 in the last 12 months
- No more than 4 incidents in the last 3 years
- No more than two DOT Recordable Preventable in the last 3 years (may NOT have an accident of a U-Turn in CMV in the last 24 months and no fatalities in the last 5 years
- For major moving violations (15 , following too close, reckless/careless) no more than one in the last 12 months
- CAN NEVER HAVE FAILED A DOT DRUG TEST
- IF TERMINATED FROM DRIVING JOB FOR ANY SAFETY RELATED REASONS MUST HAVE SIX MONTHS OF CLEAN OTR OR REGIONAL CLASS A DRIVING.
- Max number of jobs based on experience:
- 6-12 months no more than 4 jobs in the last 36 months
- 12-24 months no more than 6 jobs in the last 36 months
- 24 no more than 8 jobs in the last 36 months
