Essential Duties
- Communicate daily with carrieers, overseas agents, and customers.
- Handle booking requests and provide customer service for export inquiries.
- Prepare accurate export documentation and send pre-alerts.
- Request necessary documents from shippers, including the power of attorney, commercial invoice, packing list, insurance certificate, and Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI).
- Review standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with regulations such as FAA, IATA, TSA, and Export Control (including AES/EEI filings).
- Perform other duties as assigned and cross-train in related areas when possible.

Qualifications
- Basic English reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required.
- Fluency in Japanese is a big plus.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to compile data from multiple sources.
- Familiarity with office processes, procedures, and technology.
- Knowledge of air freight documentation, tariffs, IATA codes, and AES/EEI filings.
- Proficiency in computer operations.
- Previous experience with an International Freight Forwarder is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Motivated and goal-oriented, with a focus on achieving revenue and sales objectives.
