Candidates must be willing to travel overseas and within the U.S. for project assignments, with trips averaging two weeks.
About the Role - The role will involve contributing to various customized projects, such as AI sensory cameras.
Responsibilities
- Web & Network Development
- Design and develop interactive dashboards
- Implement data visualization using Python, JavaScript, Dash, Flutter, or React
- Cloud System Development (AWS)
- Build and maintain cloud-based applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IoT Core, CloudWatch, and API Gateway
- Hardware Support
- Perform soldering work, wire harness creation, and component assembly onto PCBs
- Conduct circuit checks and functionality testing
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware/software issues
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with internal and international teams to support project execution
- Travel domestically and overseas as needed for testing and client support
- Participate in project planning and provide technical input throughout the development lifecycle
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Provide flexible support as needed across various business and engineering functions
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and MATLAB
- Experience in automotive system evaluation (e.g., battery, inverter, converter, transmission)
- Solid understanding of cloud-based application development (AWS)
- Hands-on experience with soldering, PCB assembly, and wire harness fabrication
- Familiarity with circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel domestically/internationally as required
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Japanese language proficiency is a plus
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Intrepid Control Systems (CAN tools)
- Familiarity with tools such as Dash, Flutter, React
- Experience working with Japanese clients or cross-border project teams
- Prior involvement with Tier 1 automotive suppliers or OEMs
Pay range and compensation package - $80K - 100K DOE Starting Salary Comprehensive health Insurance package Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, and sick leave.
