Hardware/Software Development Engineer
Summary
A fast-growing tech startup is seeking a versatile and skilled Hardware and Software Development Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: web/network development, AWS services, soldering work, or circuit design. This role demands technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. The company is involved in multiple innovative projects both domestically and internationally. Candidates must be willing to travel overseas and within the U.S. for project assignments, with trips averaging two weeks.
Essential Duties (Subject to Change)
The role will involve contributing to various customized projects (AI sensory cameras, etc.). Responsibilities include:
- Web/Network Development:
- Design and develop dashboards.
- Perform data visualization using Python, JavaScript, Dash, Flutter, or React.
- AWS-Based Development:
- Build and manage applications using AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IoT Core, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
- Soldering and Assembly Work:
- Create wire harnesses and assemble medium-sized components onto PCBs.
- Circuit Design:
- Conduct circuit checks and functionality testing for PCBs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Other Duties as Assigned:
- Support additional tasks and responsibilities as required to meet project and organizational needs.
