Summary
We are seeking a proactive Safety Coordinator focused on workers' compensation, general liability, and OSHA compliance. The role includes ensuring workplace safety, handling workers' compensation claims, filing liability documents, maintaining OSHA 300 logs, and being the main point of contact for related issues. The candidate must be organized, knowledgeable in safety regulations, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Essential Duties

• Develop and maintain safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and other standards.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards.
• Lead safety training sessions and promote a safety culture.
• Act as the primary contact for workers' compensation claims and manage the process.
• Handle general liability claims and ensure accurate filing and tracking.
• Ensure timely filing of OSHA 300 logs and assist with OSHA inspections.
• Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
• Certification in Occupational Safety & Health (e.g., Certified Safety Professional) is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in safety coordination, workers' compensation, and OSHA compliance.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and workers' compensation laws.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with safety management software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Working Hours & Location

• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, on-site in Honolulu, Hawaii

Salary/Benefits

• Salary: $45K–65K

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
